Default 2000 Si ECU

I'm currently trying to install an auto meter air/fuel ratio gauge. I've located the white wire on my 31P (blue) ECU connector, which is the Primary O2 Sensor. But my problem is trying to get the damn wire out so I can run it to my air/fuel gauge. Does anyone know if it's okay to just cut the wire and rewire together w/my wire running to my air/fuel gauge.

NE help is appreciated!

you can just cut a little plastic off the wire your splicing into..and solder the new wire where you stripped it. if you dont have a soldering iron, you could just wrap the new wire around the spliced part, and electric tape it (not reccommended).

or you can go to home depot and buy splicers*

its basically a blue little plastic peice that you insert 1 wire into and clip it onto the wire you are splicing into, no cutting or taping needed
