Default EG sidemarker wiring....?? my stanleys have 3 leads????

I got my sidemarkers today...advertised as stanleys...labeled as stanleys and was shipped from japan but instead of having 2 leads per marker one has 3 and one has 2
someone told me stanleys only come with 2 wires but i wouldnt know how they wired up the 3rd wire.

can anyone give me some info??

both wires can be used as a signal, just splice them both into the turn signal wire, the black one is for ground. don't worry about the 3rd wire

well i believe that there should be 3 wires on both of them.
1 ground
1 power
1 signal

when i did mine, i was in the same situation, one harness with 2 wires, the other with 3, if you tap the 2 + wires that you have, in your case green, it will still work if you splice them into the same wire. you can test it if you don't believe me

one will illuminate the sidemarker (as long as the vehicle is on)
one will make the sidemarker blink (to the turn signal)
one wire is ground.</TD></TR></TABLE>

so are you saying that the corners will be on when lights are on but when i signal it will flash?

Yup the signal wire allows it to blink. and the sidemarker will turn on as soon as you turn on your lights.

the thing is, on your harness, both of those green wires are running into the same pin, so it is the same wire. you can only put one signal into it
