anyone heard about comp cams? are they good?

do you think it would worth it? what kind of gain should i excpect ( i have i/h/e)? do you think its a fair price too?

i want to match the camshaft with a set of pm7 pistons i already own (not installed yet...). Do you see any problem with this setup? we have 94 octane gas here, i have bigger rods too and i dont plan on reving engine past 7200 rpm.

comp's a good company. Can't say what kinda gains you'll be looking at, but tuning is key. The only thing I might suggest is getting a new set of valve springs if the cam is way more aggresive than stock.

 

i think that is the same as the zex cam 53900, it's a good cam. if you search under zex 53900 you'll find the info you're looking for

 

SKUNK2 or CROWER OWN!! all of my peeps that have ran crower or skunk2 love the cams

 

i run a zex 59300 cam which is made by comp cams. Its a very good cam and I noticed a huge difference in power
