Default crx b18c knock sensor Question

i have a crx with a b18c running b16a1 ecu and the knock sensor is broken,would this be a power loss if it is not plugged in ?

Hook up your knock!

Dont be stupid

Its a 1 wire sensor located on the rear of the engine, you can get to it by laying under your car and just reaching like a *****.

Why would you lose power by throwing code 23? I'm so in the dark here....

yeah it wont work very well... ur botom end might be stronger till u hit vtec then it will throw a code then power will fall off...
could alway put single vtec puter in and get it chiped then u dont need knock..
just my 2 cents

since your ecu is "in the dark" on to whats going on with the combustion process and not know ing it might be knocking or not. it takes timing away and makes it run so it will get you home.

where is the wire? i have an 88 crx with an itr motor. my harness does not have the plug but the motor has the sensor, should i get a J&S safeguard? if so, which one?
