Default JDM SRS Wheel Installed Today

Put the JDM SRS steering wheel on the car today without any problems. It was a simple plug and play install. No SRS light, horn works and the turn signals are clicking themselves off after the corner. It is isn't *perfectly* centered (but neither was my USDM wheel) - I may re-adjust it sometime in the future.

What a difference. I love the feel of the wheel and the size seems perfect. I know it is just slightly smaller than the USDM wheel, but I don't think I'd want to go any smaller. It also looks sweet.

Overall I love this thing.

Thanks have to go out to my good friend Shane (kengs) for calling me late one night to let me know about this great deal and also thanks to Steve (sgt) for picking the wheel up from the seller and shipping it out to Texas for me.

But does the wheel kick you to SM?

I won't tell anyone.

My clutch and flywheel has already done that...
I'm going to be doing some track events this year instead of competing in autox...

I'm glad you got it hooked up and all worked out in the end. I never got a chance to try it in my car but I'm happy it's in a good home.

Possibly/probably wrong but I was thinking that even if you took your SRS wheel off and replaced it w/ another SRS wheel (all while the battery was unplugged) you should still get an SRS light and have to reset the SRS system from unplugging the original.

That aside, nice wheel! I wouldn't mind ditching my Mugen for one
