Default Accelerated tire wear

This may be a newbie question, but I have to ask. My 93 Accord that I'm geting from my family goes through front tires every 6 months my dad says. The inside of the tires wears out. He said the camber is off and the tires lean in if you look at them. I know there is a broken coil spring up front, but what else should I be looking at? Is there a factory camber adjustment bolt or anything? Please help! Thanks!

is the car with oem stock suspension?

when is the last time your car was in for alignment?

it sounds like your toes is eating the tires+the sagging spring

Stock suspension, 300K+ miles on it. No idea when it was aligned last, probably has been years.

How do I fix the toe problem?

Thanks!

Get an alignment and it should solve your toe...but as far as the tires leaning in on a stock suspension with no drop, that could be a sign that something is broken.

Broken spring = Problem

If you're tight on money, find a used set of shocks and springs. That might solve your alignment problem, but it's always a good idea to get an alignment after any suspension (height) alterations.

I fully understand that a broken spring is a problem and needs to be replaced. That will be the first thing I plan on fixing. But i was wondering if there are any other common problems with the front end that I might look into.

You can't do much unless you get it aligned. There is no way that you can correct this at home without proper equipment...

With this said, if you take it to a shop, they will tell you exactly what is needed to fix your front end so that it can be aligned. Because if you have slack in the front end, the tech will never be able to align it.

If you are on a tight budget, you may install tires from a salvage yard. About 1/2 price usually last about 6 months also...
