Default timing belt broke

when i was driving my car the timing belt broke into half. what is going to happen to the car?

Could be nothing....could be alot. How fast was the engine reving at the time?

nothing but bent valves. maybe valve chip on the piston head, thats about it....

valves are bent . . . that happened to my friend and he was going pretty slow. bent all his valves . . actually there is like 2 valves that are good, and crushed a hole in his # 1 piston

the same thing happened to me, but I was on the freeway going 80mph, so that wasn't good. took it to a shop and I had my engine swapped because the cost for repairing cost as much as a swap.

damn that sux...hopefully it will only be bent valves, and everything else will be ok...

**** dat! i'd fix it myself!!...it's not that hard to replace valves...even if pistons got messed up...i''d still do it all myself....
