Default Better for Daily Driver?

I have a 2000 GS. I want more power, but I have to drive this car to and from work. Reliabilty is an MAJOR issue. I am wondering whether I should a) get a Itr engine swap b) get an Itr/Gsr head swap on my current Ls block c) add a Jackson Racing Supercharger. If any of you guys have any input I'd appreciate it, I really am leary of the pain in the *** of all of the peripheral machinery that it takes to run a supercharger but I don't know how well a Vtec head will work on an Ls block w/ all of the differences btwn Vtec and Non Vtec (I am not familiar w/ what the specific differences there are) Thanks Guys...

i would not ls/vtec or swap in the itr engine. A jrsc or a turbo would be good if your willing to do the little extra maintenance to keep it all running good. Plus you can make some nice numbers with the turbo or jrsc.

Well, I have a GS non-Vtec what about a GSR head/Ls block? will the Higher revs conflict w/ the longer stroke?

I'd go with a custom turbo kit over a supercharger, but it all depends on how fast you want to be.

There's plenty of topics on LS/VTEC, so just search, and hang out on the Forced Induction forum and make your decision.

Either one can be reliable.
