Did you hit any curbs or anything like that? When I first got my ITR, I hit a curb and bent back my axle, upper and lower control arms. It sucked pretty bad.(finacially) Anyway, is the boot torn?

1.You can get an axle for about $65 from Napa Autoparts.
2. when my upper control arm bent, I just replaced it with the skunk2 camber kit.
3. I forgot how much a lower control arm cost.
If it is just the axle, it will take about an hour to replace it.

If you hear a grinding/clicking noise, it's most probably your axle. Stupid question, but are you sure you're not talking about your tie rod being bent? Those usually bend before an axle (an axle will actually break before bending that much).

Any small car parts store will have Civic/Integra OEM replacement axles for pretty cheap. Even cheaper if you return the axle to them for the core exchange.

If you are mechanically inclined at all, it should take about 1 hour maximum to change the axle (provided you don't run into any problems such as tight/rusted bolts, etc). If it's your first time, it'll take a little longer maybe.
