Today I drove my 91 Si for the first time since bringing it out of storage, and it was getting "sluggish" with acceleration for the whole 2 hours of driving I did in it. It would start to bog down, and I had to keep downshifting and then upshifting back to 5th to keep it under normal acceleration. It may be that I just had bad gas, but it did trip the CEL light a few times. Anyway, the following is what I am seeing:

1 brief flash, a long pause, 4 long flashes, and 3 short quick flashes. maybe that equals 143 or 53?

Any help with figuring this out would be greatly appreciated, I need to get back to college ASAP. Thanks.

regarding the fuel code, could it be that he didnt add stabilizer and that is messing things up?

 

code 10 = iat (intake air temp.) sensor
code 43 = fuel supply system

just run all of that gas out and put new gas in. it might be stale from being in storage. reset the ecu and see what happens

doesnt gas that has been sitting for a while breakdown and gum up? I thought they made some stuff that you could dump in right after storage and burn it up with?

 

hm...i didnt know it gumed up but i know it can get stale
