How can you tell if the light flash is long or short?
I had 9 of the same length flashes...
I'm assuming its all long flashes because they didn't seem very quick at all...
and Code 90 seems to be "Evaporative Emission Control System leak detected in the fuel tank area"
What is that?
Is that an unshut fuel cap?
Any help would be nice~

It says if you don't turn the gas cap until you hear 3 clicks you might get a CEL?
So I did that and am resetting the ECU now...
If this doesn't solve the problem, someone please give me some advice...

 

if it is a quick split second flash that counts as "1" if it is the long flash like you are saying then that counts as "10" then just add....

if you say you got 9 long flashes then yes that is CEL code 90 ... look it up .... if it is the evaporation tank like you listed in your first post then have someone take a look at it unless you know what your doing

 

when will the cel flash to tell u the code? mine cel light came on yesterday.. TIA

 

Well, I reset the ECU and the light didn't come back on...
Should I still have it checked out by someone?
The closest Acura dealership is 1.5 hours from me but there are Honda dealerships... It should be ok to take it to them if I have any problems right? I mean they should know what to do... right?

 

I would just let it go, unless the light comes on again. Make sure to tighten gas cap properly..
