Default obd-II

what exactly would I need to do to succesfully convert to obd-I?? If I put in an aftermarket ECU would that make my car significantly more mod friendly?

you can buy a clip that converts a obdII car to use a OBDI ecu hondata sells the clip and then you could use a 94 kord ecu i think...i believe you can buy the clip and a programable ecu from them and do it that way too.

Ive never heard of those OBD2 to OBD1 adapters for accords, i know Skunk2 makes them for Civics and Tegs, as much as it is a headache why dont you do an OBD1 conversion? I think its the best solution.

how much would the hondata clip and chip cost?
also...how much more HP gain would you get out of obd-I with I/H/E as compared to obd-II.

wouldn't an obd-I conversion be more of a headache than just getting the hondata clip?

You shouldnt look at it as getting alot more HP out of I/H/E with an OBD1 vs. OBD2 u should look at it from the perspective that your car will be alot more easier to tune and extract HP out of and will be less of a pain in the *** to make go fast

good way of puttin it shocker. So what would be the best way to go...hondata chipped ECU or just an obd-I conversion...taking into consideration price, headache, results.

Probably wouldn't be worth the price yet. What mods do you have and what do you plan to do?
