I've been looking at OBD1 conversion harnesses for my 96 SIR-G. And I know I need to get an OBD1 ECU to go along with it. But I'm wondering what the difference is between a normal ECU and Hondata ECUs for example. Can anyone shed some light on this matter for me? I would greatly appreciate it.

 

hondata prepped ecu's are socketed and ready for chipping. normal ecu's arent.
