Is the thing on the end of the fuel rail needed? dampner???
Ok using a AEM fuel rail and the stock setup uses a fuel dampner at of the rail where the line comes in. Reason I ask is because the motor has the crazy "honda" idle that whats to go from 700-1300rpm. This is using a hondata, dsm injectors and resistors. Also the vacumm is running at 19 or in that area. thanks for any help in advance.

FITV = Fast Idle Thermal Valve
It's located under the throttle body and has coolant lines going to it. Take it off and rebuild it. Do a search for fast idle vavle for directions on how to do it.

All the fuel pulsation damper does is help reduce noise from the fuel system. It wont cause a running problem.
