I heard any sohc dizzy will fit any other sohc as long as the obds are the same. Some of the holes wont line up, some might need modification. I used a d15b7 dizzy on a d16z6 head for a while but i had to slot one of the holes and and tightened it down using washers to hold it in place because only the top hole would line up and the others dont line up with each other. Just spend the extra money to get the right dizzy so you ahve a wider and better range of adjusting you timing correctly.

well the obd is diff, and the weird thing is that the dizzy mounted on perfect and also that therer is alot of room for timing to adjust. sooo yeah. thanks for the reply.

so update:

put on the cx dizzy into the d16 and wow! bad idle, 02 wasnt hooked up but still, Im not to experianced in retarding the dizzy but still made the barking kind of idle no matter which way I put on the dizzy, now Im gonna bo buy a LS 96 to 98 harness and should fix my problem, I have to put back my d16 obd2 dizzy to run the LS harness.

thats because the z6 has a different bolt pattern than all the other d series motors.
