Hey, I'm working on tuning my car with an innovative and it's a pain in the *** because I can't get the RPM's working. I running the VAFC hack with an MSD BTM retarding .5 per psi. I'm running 92 octane, some toulene, and 9:1 compression. And I think my AFR is about 12-13 and from just looking at my AFR the ****** thing shoots up to about 14.5 in some places like the 6k rpm.

Well anyways, if I'm endangering my motor is will show up on my plugs right? I don't hear any pinging and my plugs seem ok(they aren't white).... Any comments??

 

no signs of detonation but if you can take a better pic of the area around the electron (the soot covered ring). also look for silverish-white specks in that area for signs of detonation

 

they look okay..

 

it doesent have to detonate to blow. get someone else to drive while you tune or vice versa.
