excuse me for chuckling...but...all that, and you're running 450cc inj. with the AFC hack ??? Sorry, but that is ludicrous.

what wrong with that...
its better than the FMU you see sitting in those pics...
this thing isnt going to make much power....
He made 160 to the ground on 6 psi from the supercharger

It may be just a shot in the dark, but I would think that with that much air getting shoved around, you would probably need more fuel.

I remmeber hearing a while back about running a set-up like this would cancel each other out. And that you wouldnt make as much power as if you had just one charger. It will be interesting to see how much power you make.

i dunno about that...
Mequier's car made crazy power on a similiar setup.

Rob</TD></TR></TABLE>

I honestly dont seeing it needing that much fuel.
Someone said 250 above and i think thats about what it will make..
Low boost, i think we are going to put a smaller spring in the WGand run like 5lbs from it.
If it ends up needing moe fuel, its not a problem. The 450's/afc just a start to get it going and see how it works

meguiars also had crazy money to spend on it...

and in my eyes they didnt make as much power as you would have thought

get stand alone.....

hks tuned the meguiars car and they said it was a pain to do cause when the turbo spooled....and then vtec kick over all the fuel/ign maps were all crazy..

The Meguiar one did pretty good with a similar setup.

But I have to agree with everyone else about the fuel thing.

An LS with 6psi and only got 160HP that is horrible man. Was the motor fucked up??

If that was an SOHC then its good but an LS with a stock HP of 140HP......

Oh yeah it's still an awesome mani.

wait but theres no wastegate flange on that manifold....ok weird when its on the car it has a deltagate.....odd

so your gona boost 5 pounds on the turbo and 6 pounds on the blower.....

5+6 = 11psi

and you better get an intercooler...cause that wood chipper on the intake manifold is going to heat the air up...so the lower the temp you can get before it the better

edit : ohhh wait, there is an intercooler....a dsm sidemount....i think you need a bigger one

yes that equals 11 psi.
THe front mount for the car is in my bay awaiting the arrival of our new bandsaw so i can cut it down..

And for the few who say waste.....
The supercharger has been on the car for a while, i had nothing to do with that and was asked to build the turbo setup.
The SC was bought for 1k long time ago
the turbo was free, the AFC was arleady in the car as well as the 450's
this was done for practically nothing....
so it was a waste of time if anything, but its a project car so whatever

do it if you can thats my moto....if you want to do it do it....but dont expect everyone else to understand it...

good luck...take it slow...do it right....you'll be fine

think about getting hondata atleast if you want to get the most out of it

How does this work with the supercharger and turbo ? Do you add the pressure because they are different types of blower setups ?

Cuz, if you have a twin turbo [enter vehicle name here] and each turbo it gated at 7 psi. 7+7 does not = 14. It will still only push 7 psi of air. But with 2 there is more CFM being pushed.

Just a question.

I dont think adding the boost of the turbo with the boost of the SC is going to work.... 5+6 = 11, I dunno

I really hope that some kind of engine mgmt is going to be used other than the v-afc, then again i dont think that the car will be running that long.

Meguiar's did something similar on the ITR, but it was completley built and a LOT of hours on the dyno.

How are you thinking that the motor will take the heat produced by the supercharger and the turbo, the 2g intercooler will be taxed trying to cool hot air and hotter air.

Please tell me this guy is going to drive with a 3500 redline or something to make the last last.
