How hard is it to take these off? This is a 99 si tranny!

you need a bearing press to seperate it out. it look like a cradle it go between the diff case and the bearing. imo just take it to the a machine shop and let them do it for you.

 

I did, but i was hoping they would be able to get the bearings off without hurting them, so i could re-use them, or is that bad?

 

If you remove them........replace them with new ones. The bearing splitter and/or puller is going to damage them.

Would you suggest getting honda replacements? There is a bearing manufacturer close by, I bet i could get a better deal there, or should I just pay for the overpriced honda ones?

 

I would go with the OEM bearings.
