Default gsr rear sway bar on eg hatchback: subframe reinforcement needed?

Just as the topic states, i was wondering if any of you guys has had any bad experiences with tearing your subframe, using the 13mm gsr rear sway bar without any reinforcement.

I know that people have had issues with bigger bars, but i couldn't find any other info while searching. I just got done installing this bar without any extra support.... the brackets are bolted to some pretty thin metal, I can see how tearing could happen. But since this bar is really small in comparison, i think it should be ok. any comments/experiences? thanks in advance. btw this thing makes a huge difference in handling!

i'm runnin a stock gsr sway bar with no problems. i guess it wouldn't hurt to get the beaks kit even with a stock gsr setup.

cant run the beaks kit on a GS-R rear bar , its mounts different than the ITR setup.

no reinforcement is needed with that bar anyway.

bar is too small to rip out the subframe or tear it..

sorry for the newb-like question, but what endlinks/attachments are needed for the cx/vx/dx suspension with the gsr sway bar? newer lower control arms are needed, yes, but can somebody post a pic of the mount?

no support bracket here. Although my spring rates are high enough, I could probably run a ITR sway with no supports and not rip the subfram....suspension hardly moves in the rear

I have the 14mm rear GSR bar and no problems whatsoever. I do a lot of rutted street driving too.

jdmsiR20, you need the GSR end links, chassis brackets, bushings, LCAs and the actual bar. You may be able to use end links, LCAs, and mounting brackets from other cars like the Civic or Del Sol, or definately from an LS integra, but why not just get the whole setup from one car?

no reinforcement needed. that bar is so flexible the stock subframe is more than enuff.
