D2 Coilovers for EK?
I've seen them in a few shops and on eBay for about $850 with damping and height adjust but are they any good?
I know D2 are used in DTM cars in Europe and they have a racing team but that's a whole lot different to street driving and some track use which is what I'd be using them for. At this price they're cheaper for me than Koni/GC.
I tried a search but the H-T search excludes terms of only 2 characters so it won't search for D2.

Just got mine on today, but the box was missing the adjustment ***** and wrenches (friend picked up the demo set from SEMA for me). I FREAKING LOVE THEM!!! Aside from my engine, they are the best thing I've gotten for my car in a lonnng time.

I wouldn't pay over 400 bucks for these. Ive had experience with them on several cars- including 240's and our chassis'.
They're cheap and readily available....but a GC/Koni setup would be just as cheap and much better

i got my omni's for about 600, i ****** love them!
but....these look VERY similar to the construction of the omnipowers, the top hats are definatly the same and so are the front bottem part that attaches to the fork that bolts to the LCA...whatever this means, i dont know. Just stating an observation.

those d2's look awsome,
but the one thing i don't like about any of these "new name" full coilovers popping up(including omni's) is that you don't know wtf is going on in the shock. sure it's got damping adjustability and choose ur own rates.. thats cool.
but is the damping compression AND rebound or just rebound? does it have a hight zone that it works best at? how much springrate can it handle before it starts to loose damping? etc etc...
Established names like koni we know all these answers.
Now if there was a full coilover KONI shock with a sub 1000 pricetag, dual height adjust, ***** your own rates, and maybe a higher damping range than your usual OTS koni.. fawwkkk.. that'd be beautiful.
of course it'd never happen at that price
