Default Injector sizing.

So Ive been to RCs site and they say I need something like 390cc for around 200whp(240ish on the crank). This means ill probably going with the 440s, unlike I had originally planed(310s) and I just wanted to see what other people were running with 190-210 whp...with some tuning

I really hope that is not true... I have used 310's and plan to be at about 210-220

It really depends on your BSFC, but anyway I look at it, you'll need bigger then 310s, which I thought would be plenty for 200whp.

We use 310's most commonly on an NA setup like yours... Of course they will have to be trimmed down but they'll leave you plenty of room to play... Good Luck

My ITR is just under 200 whp and my RC 310's were maxxed out above 8,600 rpm.
Just put in some 440's.

Really at 8600, wow... M.D. or Dynojet? Yea, 370's and 440's are always an option but that maybe overkill...

DynaPack. The injectors were at 100% duty cycle above 8,600 rpm. With Hondata, overkill is a relative term

Wow, that's crazy and that's considered with your numbers being on the high end... We've done lots of ~215whp CRVTEC's on our M.D. running 310's and they've always been just fine (370's would have probably been perfect)... I'm not doubting you by any means, just curious...

I know running an injector too big will cause poor fuel atomization and that is supposedly will cause deposits of gas to build up on the valves, which will then drop in the CC. But is running a 440 vs a 370 going to really cause that big of a problem?

Generally in the past we've run 370-440's with 11.5-12.0:1 and a little beyond, ~2.0L motors with absolutely no problems... What compression/displacement is your motor?

stock 1.8L gsr with 11.2-11.3 CR, stage I cams, P&P work, P&P'd gsr intake manifold, hybrid 4-2-1 header, exhaust, intake, bored TB, and hondata. Basically its a rather mild build up(based on CR and cams), but should still put down a fair amount of power with stock reliability.

Okay that's coool, really I personally think 310's would be ideal for your setup... It's up to you but there would be nothing wrong with 370's as they can easily be trimmed down with your Hondata and would give you far more room to play... 440's are truely overkill and the absolute max I would probably go for now would be to the 370's... Just my $0.02 tho
