Default Too Large of an injector is bad ?

Hey, I'm asking this question here because I know the FI guys are more in touch with the info...I am speaking for an n/a car, but here's the question:

Is there a downside from using an injector larger than need be for your setup ?

Why do I ask ?

I have 460cc injectors, but my setup would be comfortable with 370's. However, I don't have 370's, I have 460's and am low on funds. So I'd rather not use any money. But am wondering if there are downsides (like response time, duty cycle, etc) to using a 'too large' injector. I will be running the fueling with uberdata.

Anyone ?

i always wondered the same thing.

shermanyang is running a 1000cc daily driving only on 10psi (300whp) and it seems fine. his goal is 450+whp.... thats why he got those injectors.

i wanna get some 550cc but will be at only about 225-250whp for a while..
eventually i wanna break into the 300s with my small turbo.

if you think you will surpass the smaller injectors one day and have a way to tune them down , then shoot for the bigger.

^^ That's what I was figuring...

But I just want to make sure there won't be a down side, like a bad spray pattern or problems with fuel pressure, etc.... when you're n/a, you can't afford to let a single Ft/lb slip...
