Default 1st gen Eclipse BOV ???

Does anyone use this BOV? or know anything about it when using it with a B16 running 6-7 pounds?

it works fine. I run it. It also makes a "whooosh" it just doesn't make the bird chirp noise like the rest

additional sounds like bird chirping = ineffeciency in releasing boost pressure.

i'll work just fine. Just crush it and it will sound little bit better. I had it on my teg and now... well it came stock with my car.

A stock 1G bov will hold 18-19lbs with no problem. You can "crush" i to hold more boost.

they work great. Also, if you turn it upsidedown there is a small indent you can drill down into. This connects it to the back side of the diaphram so it be made to open with boost and/or vaccum.

The crush mod will just put a little more spring pressure on the diaphram. This means it will hold a few more psi. No need for your low boost application.
