Default revhard kit....retard timing in my case?

hey, I will be installing my turbo into my 00 GSR this sat and its the revhard kit w/ sc34. anywho, i have ditched the FMU and inline pump for an intank walbro 255 and some RC 440s. my question is should i still retard the timing to 12ish btdc? or leave it at stock or what? i will be running the injectors off of the hack until mid summer when i will get ems. anywho i have searched and cant find the exact answer to my problem, so if anyone who has experienced my situation could help me out, i'd greatly appreciate it. thanks again guys.

id retard the timing just to be safe, until you purchase a better form of engine management.

ive ran the hack on my sohc, greddy kit - intercooled @ 7psi on 440cc injectors and was getting detonation. Retarded the timing about 2-3 degrees and it went away.

now with hondata my car is running fine and hope to do so for many more miles.

ps over 100k on my d16 and still running strong

if you can get 93-94 octane 13-14 will do. If 92 or less retard it to 12btdc.
