DSM 450's for my ITB setup...will they work?
I am in the final stages of finishing my custom ITB setup using 929RR ITB's, now a friend is giving me a set of DSM 450's off of his '93 GSX for free, so I figure I might as well use them right? Will these work ok on a lower duty cycle compared to my stock ITR injectors? Or will my stock ITR injectors work fine? Engine management is performed using Uberdata and wideband O2 for fuel tuning...will these injectors work on a lower duty cycle, like around 50 or 60%?...or should I try and max out my stock ITR injectors first?
Thanks.
Thanks.

depends on your motor compression and displacement to determine if you need more fuel.
with dsm use the 88-91 crx or si resistor box. lean about 45% ...

your going to be running really rich with those 450's if your doing the homemade ITB's. i'd stick with the stock injectors since your basically a stock motor.

i didn;t notice your post, feel free to pm me if you're confused. As for your question, my advice is to use the stock injector and a uberdata startup map for stock. You do not need 440 injectors even with ITBs ... the stock is fine for your compression with ITBs, just simply turnup the fuel presure about 5-7psi more to compensate for ITBs.

Thanks for the reply Greg.
Looks like road tuning with stock injectors + FPR is first on the list. Also, should I try and find a ITB map to tune off of? Or should I just run with a stock map for starters?

If you find one that's OBD1... share the wealth brother...

I plan on releasing my BIN files publicly once I get everything finely tuned. This is a community and theres no need to hide anything.
