Default DSM injectors... somebody throw me a frickin' bone here

OK I'm getting thoroughly confused... I've heard from like 50% of my sources that DSM stock injectors will work on my GSR, and the other 50% say the DSM injectors are low-impedance and won't work.

Can anyone actually tell me if these things will work? If they're low impedance is it possible to just make a resistor pack to match the impedance of my stock injectors and avoid frying my ecu? They're just so damn cheap from the DSM guys dumping them for 550s and larger, I would really like to make it work!

Thanks!!!!

They are, in fact, Peak & Hold (low impedance). Although I'm no wiring genius, I'm told that putting in an injector resistor pack from a 88-91 CRX Si or HF is not difficult to do, just a matter of grounding the right wires.

Is that resistor pack something I should be able to source for a pretty reasonable price or are they one of those "high demand" parts because a bunch of cheap bastards like me are snapping them up to run the wrong injectors on their hondas?

actually, a lot of people (such as myself) have them sitting around in their garages, collecting dust, because they converted their CRX's to OBD1. You should be able to find them for less than 50 bucks, shipped.

I was under the impression that you can run 1g NON-turbo injectors. I read this somewhere but dont quote me on it. I believe they are 290 cc. ****, I think I read it in the most recent Turbo, i think... oh well, hope this helps.

Yeah, I run DSM 450s using a 4g resistor box. Its incredibly easy to splice in
and works perfectly.
