Default engine swap question

ok i have a blown 16 valve 1.5L d15b2 engine and i am looking at getting a d15b 1.5L v-tech, will i need a wiring harness and an ecu??? or will i just need one or the other?? i just dont know what all i need to get. just some questions i have since im not wired for v-tech?? thanx every one jahnericm

Always use your stock harness.
to properly do this convert to OBD 1 and use a P28.

I see you are in duluth, I am moving their around may or july.
I plan on coming up a few times before I move, maybe we can meet up

hey im in duluth too, you know the kid at the gas station... anyways i found this ecu in the classifieds i dont know if the guy would sell it w/o the rest of the swap or what.

from what i have found a JDM P08 ECU or USDM P28 ECU will work for you. obviuosly the JDM is harder to find. the p28 is found in usdm vtec motors (92-95 civic si/ex or del sol si). that sould not be hard to find.

Oh, and one last thing, its vtec. people here will eat your *** for spelling it wrong.

As stated always make sure you spell VTEC right.
As for the duluth people maybe a few more will pop up now

thanx guys for all of you help!! was workin on ma everyday driver last couple days. so sorry it took me so long to reply.... but all i need to do now is start pulling my engine.... and wait for my other one to arrive....
