Default convert to ODB I?

ok as of now in my 91 CRX Si i'm running a mini me with a Y8. i've got my stock ECU with a Zdyne 1 wire conversion. the car runs great and it has good power. but i'm going to do a full Z6 swap this winter. the motor will more or less be fully built, high compression, cam, head work. i'm thinking about converting to a P28 ECU. just looking for some opinions here on what would be the better route.

Definitely convert to OBD-1. I'm just about ready to convert my CRX to a P28, once the this guy finishes chipping my ECU.

I've been playing around with P28 and PM6 fuel/timing maps. The P28 lo and hi fuel and timing maps are much more aggressive than the PM6. The P28 was designed with SOHC VTEC in mind - you will get more power, no question about it.

There are also other benefits - a newer distributor and a 4-wire O2 sensor. The OEM Z6 O2 sensor is very sensitive, but very expensive. This is a big benefit for tuning while on the street.

Worth the $$$, time and effort IMHO.

I'll be posting the differences I notice on my setup once I finish the OBD-1 conversion.

I would never suggest a SOHC VTEC swap without a OBD 1 P28 conversion.
You get the benifit of a properly running motor and tons of support for the motor and ECU.
