Default turbo in a mini-me ?

I was wondering if anyone can give me info on putting turbo on a mini-me head swap. My set up is D15b7 Block, d16z6 vtec head and tranny. I heard aslong as I lower the compression to 9.5:1 and push 6 psi I should be in the safe zone. I was wondering if theres a way i can push 10:1 compression w/ a safe psi. Also what turbo should I use?

tuning is very very important. you can boost a higher compression engine as long as you have great tuning.

i am boosting my mini me with 8psi without lowering compression....I am burning my own chip for my ecu using a program called ghettodyne...if you have some good tuning you will still be in the "safe zone" under boost

I was just wondering which block did you use to put the vtec head on and also which vtec head did you use? What size turbo did you use and i was wondering if you had to do anything else to your motor to get it to run on 8psi ?
