help me decide motorrrr!!!!!!!!!
ok im getting ready to swap a hatch and i have three options plz give me ur input
1) drop in a h22
2) drop in a ls then turbo
3) drop in a b16 then build a 2.0 all motor bottom end

street/strip use moderatly both i was thinking the all motor route just because it feels good beating someone with no power adders
ell the ls turbo could be faster for less money than the NA motor. but i just like NA for FF cars better. i leave the turbos for the rwd and awd cars.

I don't think you honestly want my input at present. I will let you know that it has both the words "****" and "noob" in it, in multiple incarnations, much more than once. I want to make sure that you realize the severity of my bad mood right now and understand that you will incur this same reaction every time you post such garbage. Now go eat a graham cracker and think about what you've done.

it shouldnt matter what swap the people on HT want you to do. you should search for each of these swaps and see what people say about them, what times they run, etc. even PM the owners of cars that have a simular setup that you would be interested in running instead of posting things like this, making me frustrated and then spending my time posting. there are a million variables, especially when you bring in forced induction(such as what parts you will be using) i am a cheapass so i say do the LS turbo. i think you could get the best bang for the buck. but it's your car, your money, your decision. i also dont know what prices you are planning to pay for your parts. makes a big difference.

1 and 2 are decent and great options, but number three is stupid. spend waayyyy to much money doing it that way. if you were to say purchase a b20/b18(bore it), build it, and then put a vtec head on it, now that would be much smarter

im not being partial her but honestly i would go with a b20 bottom end then do vtec head or boost whichever floats your boat i guess the question is what are your goals for this project if u just want something decently quick and reliable then hell i would just find a b18c5 swap they are getting relatively cheap and u are looking at a 13 second car with basic bolt ons...
