Steering column (not support) = remove the dash pieces below it. unhook all the electrical stuff, if srs make sure to do the safety plug in the back of the wheel. Take wheel off. Take column covers off. take cover around the column, under the dash off. There should be two bolts holding it to the steering column support and one holding it to the rack down by the firewall. Thats about it.

Also, make sure blinker switches are included in the unplugging stuff and removed, srs spindle removed. Careful when unplugging the ignition, when those things ground they arc ..... might want to make sure battery is disconnected.

I can't imagine what the guy is trying to drill. The steering column bolts in.

Remove one bolt at the universal joint.

Remove two bolts at the lower column mount, and two bolts at the upper column mount.

That's it.

Plus a couple of electrical connectors...those don't require a drill to remove either though

I am trying to take out the steering column support bracket, not the steering column itself, I already go that out
