Default y8 swap throwing missfire/knock codes

Well, my d16y8 swap (into an EX, OEM replacement) was running a little ruff and a CEL came on after about a min of running. It blinked for a while and came on solid (or solid right away if i hit the gas a little while it was blinking). I took it to advanced auto and they scanned it -- 6 codes! Knock sensor, missfire in cyls 1, 2, and 3, random miss fire, and one other which I dont remeber to be honest. I'm not sure what to do to fix it. The plugs are new, and I'm pretty sure the timing is close. What can I check/do? My friend wants to just pay to have it fixed, I dont.

Thanks in advance!

well what year car is this motor going into? the knock sensor is probably cause it not hook up right....as for the miss fire check you dizzy wiring...but if you know you can't fix the problem jsut have the shop fix it and if anything goes wrong ou can alway jsut bring it back to them casue they the one that "fixed" the problem..just as a insurance measure.

It went into a '97 civic ex. I dont know if the knock sensor is showing cause we didnt plug it in (im almost sure we did, its just a 1 wire sensor) or becuas the engine is knocking. We didnt touch the dizzy really either. The plgu wires are definitely in the right order, too. What else is therE?
