Leave the wheel on the car and the car on the ground. Use a big breaker bar to get that nut off, then lift the car up and take off the wheel.

lol....man I feel bad for you no impact/air......I changed my axle tonight after work( I work at a ford dealership) in and out and on the road in a half an hour.......

I have a compressor at my house as well though you should look into one its only about 200 bucks for a descent one from oh say harbor freight....

ya I hear you, I did both of mine without an impact gun. It involved a good socket (very shallow) and a large breaker bar......and some jumping and a little heat, but it eventually came..........its not hard.....just takes time and deligence.....

I did cv's today on a toyota and on my crx before but had air tools..i know its gonna suck doing them without. I cant get a pos compressor cause I need my own garage first and a cheap compressor wont work for spraying paint which is what i mainly need one for. Thanks for the suggestion on Harbor Frieght as they are budget minded but Im gona have to use a big *** pipe i guess this time around.
