fuel cut off question

Default fuel cut off question

basically i wired a fuel cut off it keeps blowing the fuel pump fuse im using a 30a switch, i tryed using 15a, 20a, 25a, and 30a fuses all blown, also it is a lighted switch and i did ground it. what am i doing wrong?

Post a diagram of how you wired it. Or explain it with a little more detail.

You're probably shorting out your fuel pump wire through the switch. That's my guess based on what your described. Post a diagram or a link to the switch you're using.
