sequence of mods
my friend said before you do any mods of the FI type you should get a exhaust first. is that true? and does a AEM CAI really really do **** to ur car? and can u use it if you have FI? so basically is it little **** first, exhaust, intake etc, then the FI systems. or do you have to get rid of the little **** when you get the FI system?
If you are serious about going FI, then sratch the intake and header. On a turbo car, these are useless. You do not need an exhaust before you go turbo, but it helps out a lot more on a turbo car than it does on an NA Honda.
If you want to do small things before you go turbo I would recommend an exhaust, cam gears, pulleys, and an ignition. These can be used on the turbo setup.

forget ignition for now. if you're not going F/I, start with AEM CAI, exhaust, and header. If you don't get the header and exhaust at the same time, exhaust would probably do more for your Accord than a header. Most dynos show a decent gain, but no where near what the vendor claims. I'd guess 6~10 average for I/H/E.
well.. questions regarding turbo. how does it conflict with your warrentees and stuff. and when you go in for ur schedualed checkups, what happens, that sort of deal.

I just put on an AEM CAI on my 99 Accord, and it make a very noticable difference. I have a lot more fun driving it now, I've got more power on the low end and a lot more power on the high end, that and it sounds bad a$$.

LOL just try and get some warrantee work on your turbo Accord.
Technically bolt ons like header, intake, and exhaust shouldn't violate warrantee, but you'll have to struggle with a dealer to get any warrantee work done should something go wrong elsewhere.
