"dead" spot?

Default "dead" spot?

between 2.5k and 3k on my ls engine, theres a noticeable dead spot. you can feel a loss of power, its kind of annoying. any ideas? im thinking its a ignintion problem but im not tottaly sure, ill be replacing plugs sometime, but i just wanted some input.

If you've ever looked at a honda ignition map, there is a huge dip right were you're talking.

I often wonder what honda's strategy was with that. I have a couple ideas, but nothing solid.

Had the same hesitation problem at the same exact rpm range
common in 90-93 DA's. could be traced to a number of things
but most likely O2 sensor, or O2 sensor signal
