Default whats max booost....

what is the max boost a jackson racing supercharger can put out before it will self destruct? curious, becuase, im planning on pushing 11 psi out of mine! this charger will be installed on a crv-vtec by the way. another question i have, has anyone been able to come up with a way to cool down the intake air temp on a jrsc, besides the $1300.00 kit from LHT (which to me seems like it would restrict flow!)

I ran ~16psi on mine and it held up fine. It was however modified by Endyn and a machine shop in Houston.

I dont reccomend anything over 12psi to keep it reliable.

who cares how much boost it will make...you air temps will kill your engine before the s/c will kill itself.

there are no good ways of intercooling the honda application, as of yet. The LHT is a waste...not even all of hte air goes through the cooling core itself.

a local guy took a tranny/oil cooler and fabed up a different mani for his S/C, and he's dynoing this weekend.....if all turns out good, maybe there will be a GOOD way of i/c the s/c soon.

A good friend of my runs a B20 vtec with unmodified (ok the charger coating has disapeard) jrsc.
He runs it at 17psi. All is going ok for the last 54.000km
He runs it with a aqua mist waterinjection without problems!

water or meth injection is a good way to help fend against detonation...but if you could just get some kind of DECENT intercooling to go along with it...the Jackson S/C MIGHT end up being worth...maybe, $1000 brand new

I like superchargers, but damn, the price on them is outrageous. it all comes down to money, and it is cheaper and more fun to go turbo!
