Default Vortech FMU ratio???

I'm running a 95' bottem end (d16z6), 97' sohc vtec head (d16y8). GReddy kit, bov and 2mm head gasket, front mount, AEM rail, SX reg. Waloboro "FI" pump, Apexi SAFC and AVCD, stock injectors, and the Vortech FMU that comes with the kit. It is calabrated to 12:1 (fuel press:lbs. of boost) this ratio is intended for use with a stock fuel system, since I have the pump, rail, and regulator (@40psi static) plus the fuel and boost controller I should be able to safely lower my fuel pressure under boost by recalabrating my FMU. Recalabration kits come for ratios of 10:1, 8:1, or 6:1. I want to run 8psi @ the track and 5.5-6 and street. Any sugestions as to which ratio would be best?
12:1= 112lbs. fuel press, @6psi/136lbs. fuel press, @8psi
10:1= 100lbs. fuel press, @6psi/120lbs. fuel press, @8psi
8:1= 88lbs. fuel press, @6psi/104lbs. fuel press, @8psi
6:1= 76lbs. fuel press, @6psi/ 88lbs. fuel press, @8psi
Let me know what you think.

You shouldn't recalibrate the FMU unless you change the size of your injectors. For example, if your stockers are 240cc min (they are) and you go up to 310cc injectors, you've increase the size by roughly 20%. So, the rise rate of the FMU needs to go down by the same amount. If you had a 10:1 disk before, you'd now need an 8:1.

If you stick with the stock injectors you'll defintley need a 12:1, but you'll also need a high pressure inline pump and you'll stil be ultimatley limited to like 8-9psi before you murder an injector with that kind of pressure. Even at 100psi, my stocks are running close to 70% duty cycle, 80% is max for the stocks I belive so you'll be cutting it kinda close from what I gather... maybe somebody else can give us a clearer picture though as to how much pressure a stock 240cc injector can handle..?
