On my '90 CRX Si it seems my lights, interior lights and blower motor, basically all elecrical accesories pulse when I give the car throttle.
What's going on?
Alternator? Regulator? I'm at a loss. The alternator is supposedly new.
Could it be something elae?

mine does it too...i think at idle the alternator doesnt really charge as much at idle compared to 1500+...so you get the little surges...

Sounds like a ground to me.

Actually that was not really what I was talking about.
I'm talking about ONLY while accelerating, the gauge ligths get brighter and then dimmer over and over. BRIGHT dim BRIGHT dim, BRIGHT dim, while the throttle input stays the same. Blower motor pulses as well.
ANY ideas?
It almost seems like a bad contact INSIDE the alternator?

basically its happening to me to, when i give the car throttle whether its standing still or drivintg a bit, all my electrical components surge as well...
maybe you need to explain it better, because this is what im interpiting your sentence...

Sorry I wasn't more clear in the original post. I was afraid people would misinterpret my problem, but I took a shot, anyway.
To clarify, though. The "problem" you describe, I really wouldn't call a "problem".
ALL my Hondas do it. Slow idle, dim lights. give it throttle lights get brighter. Very common.
What I was talking about is more perplexing, I think. And more annoying.
Lights get brighter and dimmer regardless of throttle input.

it's not that hard to find another alternator for your car. Go to a junk yard and cough up the $$$ for another one. If it doesn't work, your're out what $40? Or go to autozone and if it doesn't work you can return it for a full refund.
Did the problem start recently or has the car always done this?
