see I took it to a place in indy and he told me I had to get a new seat then he would press it in and rework the chamber....I dont think he knew much about 4 cylinders.
It's pretty similar regardless of engine or chamber type.
I can refer you over to fkned, MAX_CFM, HEAD, Larry at Endyn, or Tom at Portflow. Talk to each one of them and then decide who you want to rework the chamber and port/valve job/polish the chambers on the head.
If you're not interested in spending all that money on all that work, then just sell the head to someone who would be willing to spend the money and get a good, used head.

Im willing to spend it, I dont really want a crazy port and polish job or anything though just the chambers polished up that area fixed and my new stuff installed. The place I went to first told me it wasnt that bad and it would be $275 to just fix it this was indy cylinder head which is really reputable for v8's.
Ask Brad (MAX_CFM) what kind of seats he sells and uses. Maybe he'll sell you however many you need.
He's the one guy that has advertised being able to do that kind of work, so naturally, he's my first recommendation. Don't be afraid to call the other guys tho.
And, if they're going to polish one of the chambers, then they should polish and/or deshroud all the other chambers as well to keep cylinder-to-cylinder dynamics the same.

If you need a B-series valve guide, I've got a brand new one you can have. We've got a bunch left over that we don't need anymore b/c bronze guides were used instead.
do you think I should just go ahead and use bronze ones in mine too? I just ordered the RS Machine vtec cams for it and Im upgrading the whole valvetrain, damn I didnt even realize you were from bloomingtom.
Only if the shop has the proper tools to install, ream, and hone the guides to proper clearances. The tools used to do iron and bronze guides are completely exclusive to the guide material.
