Default MBC valve... WILL THIS WORK?

i have a valve that basically just controls flow by turning a *** (as you screw the *** in, the hole gets smaller. so basically it will just restrict some of the air flow in the vacuum line running to the wastegate.

will this work as a manual boost controller?

no it will not be precise enough. Do not try this as you may over boost.

I think that you will find your device will just slow the wastegate response. Once it's open, it will be at the spring pressure.
