Default fuel pump question

i have a greddy turbo kit in my 2000 civic ex (d16y8) with a AEM fuel rail.

my question is:
i have a bbk 255 inline fuel pump, but do i really need it? i go 5 psi low boost and 8 psi high boost with the profecB.

please let me know if the factory fuel pump is already good enough to handle this kind of boost or not.

thank you much!

Yes you need it, otherwise youll be selling your turbo when the engine blows. Thats why its there.
