Axle Removal - serious help
Was going to try and remove my axles from the stock d16 and I heard there is a quick way to get them to just fall/pull out of the motor and i can lay them on the ground. Is this true?
I need a good guide on how to remove both if someone could help though.
Any special tools needed or just basic hand tools?

hmm thats looks pretty good man, but does it show how to pull it out of the motor?

You start off by pulling the nuts of each wheel hub, when that's said and done you take the cotter pin and nut off the lower ball joint, get a ball joint seperator and seperate the ball joint from the lower control arm. After all this is done you simply pull the hub towards you and side and slide the axel off the hub, when the axel is off the hub get a flat head screw driver and put it between the tranny and the axel, push or pull on the screw driver to take the tranny side out. By this time you should have the axel out and repeat the process on the other side.
Check this write up, will give you all the info you need https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=382564.
As for using a ball joint separator, I wouldn't just because you can tear the boot up. Instead just hit the lower control arm with a hammer. Just gotta put some power into your swing and dont be afraid of breaking it.

you cannot get the axle out unless you disconnect the damper fork from the lower control arm - once you have done that, remove the pinch bolt at the top of the fork that attaches it to the strut - remove the damper fork - don't disconnect ball joint or tie rod - just tap the axle back through the hub to loosen it and swing the whole knuckle/hub assembly around and the axle will come right out

unbolt the strut fork, then unbolt the lower control arm where it connects to the frame, this will allow the whole knuckle to swing, then get a big flat head screwdriver and pry the axle out. there is a snap ring in ther so just get lots of leverage.
should pop right out nice and easy

Didn't you check my link a few above? https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=382564 pics should work unless we-todd is down.
Just unbolt the strut and upper control arm from the top of the shock tower. This will drop the whole suspension/break assembly down. You will be able to maneuver the assembly enough to pop the axle out of the hub. To pop the axle out of the tranny, just wedge a flat headed screw driver in there and pull on the axle. Careful not to pull all of the guts out of the CV joint though.
I found this way much easier than popping all of the ball joints out. 15 minutes compared to 30 minutes if you don't have all the right tools.

Honestly I know this sounds dumb but can anyone tell me by reading the above writeouts is the easiest?
I know I know nothing about suspension and driveshafts so Im just giving my dad a writeup. Hopefully someone can tell me the quickest one. Just copy it or quote it please and Ill just hand it over to my dad, Im a dummy when it comes to anything beyond electrical.
Thanks

Damn bro, it ain't hard, seriously.
Just unbolt the shock fork from the LCA (and the pinch bolt holding it to the shock, thus totally removing the shock fork).
Take the nut off the lower ball joint and whack the LCA with a mini-sledge....the LCA and ball joint should seperate with ease.
At this point, go ahead and use a beefy flathead to wedge between the axle and tranny and pry the axle out....do NOT pull on the hub/spindle in order to get the axle out.
There are other methods, such as disconnecting the whole LCA from the frame and swinging the axle out like that. But I prefer the method above...very simple.

Neither is easier really. With my write-up you don't have to whack anything, nor pry anything with a separator. If you have a hammer and a separator then by all means whack away. Either way you decide to go is a good way. I just found that my suggestion was easier for "me". Have fun man! It's always good to work on the car regardless. And make sure you are there watching/helping if you have the chance.

how I did it (may not be the best, but it worked for me):
1) remove axle nut (have car setting on ground), hit axle stub on end w/ 20lb sledge ONCE shoul free it
2) remove entire strut assembly
3) unbolt UCA mounts at chassis
4) remove axle from hub
5) pop axle out of trans (just pry at it w/ a screwdriver or pickle fork)
I did it that way because I had just put in springs/camber kit, so those bolts were already free, and I couldn't get the ball joint out.
