Default ---How to take engine out?----

should i take it out above with a hoist, or drop it?
Haynes [i]manual[/] says to drop it from below.
whoever has replaced a accord motor, how did you guys do it, and what is the easiest way? i'm in the process, and this will' help me for tomorrow nights work load. gotta wait for the new engine and clutch, then tune the EMS.

we've dissconnected almost everything except for the tranny and the intake manifold.......turbo manifold and everything else is out the way. should we do the drop method or pull it from above?

advice please

They say to take it out from below because they have access to a lift. Well, I don't know anyone that has a lift in their garage, so take it out from the top. You'll have to move some things for it to clear, but you can do it.

yeah, just go through the top. You may want to remove the turbo mani, but the intake mani and trans are ok to leave in place when pulling out the motor. You just have to tilt the motor a little for the trans to clear. Good luck and have fun.

if you have a hoist take it out the top.
