Default P05 ECU work with a 92-95 EX?

My buddies ECU went out and I have a P05 laying around does anyone know if it will work or not? I know the P28 has vtec but he does not care about it he just wants it to run. Thanks!

yes it will work on the car. the maps are much leaner and lower revlimit are two setbacks of the ecu.
