Default ecu chip question

Okay so I bought a basemap chip for my lsv build and as I was filling out the section it asked for ecu type and I put p28.... but as I'm thinking I think my ecu is a p06.... but not to sure.. so would the chip still work on the the ecu if it was a p06?

As long as the p06 ecu has vtec components properly installed it will work just like a p28 :-)

Okay thanks... my ecu is hooked up with vtec components... I just wasn't sure if it would work. Thanks again.
