Help - problem after cap/rotor install
My problem: long starts in to crank engine
This started occuring the second day after i installed my new cap/rotor/ngk copper plugs/ and wires. Im pretty sure i did the install right with 20lbs of torque on each plug.
I put the wires back on the distributor in correct order starting from bottom left to bottom right to top left to top right order.
After i finished my install two days ago, the engine turned on instantly and everything was smooth and running fine.
So now my engine takes a while to crank. I can't figure out the problem; i checked the plugs with correct torque specs. ANY help would be much appreciated thanks all.

The same **** happened to me, but I just played it off as cold weather... Now that I think about it it was right after cap/rotor/plugs/wires... Do you let the motor prime fully before you start it or just crank right away...?
Right after I installed brand new cap, rotor, plugs, and wires, the crank time was quicker to start the motor for me. But when the temperature gets below freezing, it takes a little longer. It COULD be the colder weather.

I've found that if I let my car prime fully and allow the CEL to go off before I start to crank my car, it will take several cranks to "catch" and actually start... However, if I try to crank immediately after turning the key "on" it will start with no hesistation, within a crank or two...
