Default Smoking?

I've noticed that under wide open throttle and boost the car doesn't smoke at all, but after I finish boosting, whisps of white can be seen out the back of the car. I am 98% sure that the smoke is white and not blue.

I've encountered cars where AFTER acceleration cars would puff a bit of blue which indicates valve seals.

This car has brand new valve seals and smoke looks to be white.

Could it be the coolant seal on the turbo? (Turbo is both oil and coolant cooled.)

Thanx. Any help greatly appreciated.

white sounds like coolant, I think you might have narrowed it down already, your turbo or your headgasket. A leak down test will tell you if its your hg.

if ur turbo coolant seal is gone...u should probably check ur charge pipes....see if there is any resedue on the ID of the tube. If thats clean...it should elminate one of the suspected problem...
