Catchcan smoke
My motor is freshly built. I recently hooked up a catchcan(about 200 miles ago). The motor hasn't seen boost yet. Some very light smoke vapor is coming from the catchcan breather(smells like fuel). It only started after what I thought was some spilled fuel that somehow ran into the "black box" line when I changed injectors. So I pulled the catch can today and cleaned it. There was some liquid, almost like fuel. No oil at all. I cleaned the filter and everything... Still some smoke(I'll probably pull the box off tomorrow and clean it).
I never got any smoke before the catch can install with the breather on the valve cover. I have it setup with the valve cover line going to the catch, line from the black box to the catch, and a breather on top. No PCV. Weird thing is it didn't smoke when I first installed it either.. hmm. Any help is appreciated. and yes I searched
one person had the exact problem but an answer was never given.

Could it just be moisture? Although I don't have an Endyn type setup, my pneumatic catch cans were working fine during the summer and fall months, but once winter hit, I started collecting fuel smelling moisture + oil.

Could very well be! It rains almost every day here during the winter, plus stays around 40* or so, so that could be it
