Have come to problems during the swap, help
ok its been a long time now with out my car, 92 civic hb. the project is almost done, a 99 GSR OBD-2 into a 92 Civic HB OBD-1, but problems keep occuring. One thing is that my mechanic says I dont have an O2 Sensor, so i guess i have to buy one, but ive been told the O2 Sensor for the 99 GSR comes in the Header. Thats one problem, another problem is I bought the rear transmission bracket instead of the Tranmission mount( im a dumass ), i want to know if the transmission mount for the DEL SOL VTEC is the same as the 99 GSR, because i ordered the DEL SOL VTEC Transmission bracket, and to make an exchange i would have to buy the DEL SOL VTEC transmission mount. My Question is would the transmission mount fit,( the picture is here http://www.hondaautomotivepart...81%29 #15 ) or would i have to buy the GSR transmission mount( http://www.acuraautomotivepart...y.jsp ) and why are the prices different? and does the O2 sensor come inside the header? correct me if im wrong its what ive been told, i guess i have to go buy a new O2 sensor, because my car started up but then it ran like ****, so then he shut it off and now it doesnt start, it cranks but it doesnt start, i think its either O2 sensor or its wired wrong somehow.
You definately need an o2 sensor.
It doesnt come inside the header, but it does screw into it.
Your header should have a bung hole for it.
I'm 90% sure that the Del sol Dohc vtec tranny mount will fit.

step one, buy and install an o2 sensor, wire it up....
step two, reset the ecu, start car, then turn it off and check the CEL's
step three, research the CEL's and fix the problems
If the car wont start, try jump starting it, or replacing the cap and rotor.
